The metric system originated in France in 1799 following the French Revolution although decimal units had been used in many other countries and cultures previously. Although there have been many different measurements and the definitions of the units have been revised, the official system of measurements of most countries is the modern form of the metric system which is known as the "International System of Units".

Video editing is important because it is the key to blending images and sounds to make us feel emotionally connected and sometimes truly there in the film we're watching. It's a safe assumption to say that video editing is among the most important jobs in the film industry.

In the progress of making this video, we really had a hard time on thinking what would be our topic. But we are still able to select the right one. Without the cooperation of everyone this wouldn't be possible. After creating this one, I learned that in able to create video it will surely need a lot of efforts coming from each member.

TEACHER IN ME

When I was a kid, the only thing that I want to do is to fly up in the sky. But then, it changes when I realized that my life wouldn't stay in the dream of being able to fly. I met different being with different dream. Some of them wants to be a doctor, teacher, driver and lawyer. They asked me of what I want but I refuse to answer their question. I just sit in the corner and still think of what I really want. In high school, particularly in my third year I met this teacher who has a sense of humor when it comes to teaching the subject Math. I really do love engaging with math problems. Out of mind, I asked him if he really chose that profession and I was suddenly shock when his response. He said that "I really hate Mathematics the most but I just learned to love Math when I enter this profession". I really admired him because the way he teaches us, I can only see dedication in his job. 

The love and affection, the respect that students shower on a teacher who is able to inspire them by example in all spheres far surpasses the joy that wealth can bestow. What great satisfaction it gives to see your students acquire new dimensions to their personality, gaining confidence and poise and all a result of your inspiration, of your instruction. As has been rightly said: an average teacher tells, a good teacher explains, an excellent teacher demonstrates and an outstanding teacher inspires.

I chose the profession teaching specifically Mathematics because I really want to change my attitude being impatient and also I was inspired by my former teacher. Teaching students with dedication . Being with children is like being endowed with perpetual youth. The love, laughter, mischief, creativity and imagination of children are like an eternal fountain of joy and vitality. And someday, I want to be a role model to my future students.

         The term broadcasting means the transmission of audio or video content using radio-frequency waves. With the recent advancements in digital technology, radio broadcasting now applies to many different types of content distribution. Today you’ve the choice of tuning in to more types of radio stations than ever before.

         Radio broadcasts can provide real-time information, broadcasted 24 hours a day to provide the most recent updates to listeners. Stations have the ability to reach across borders and become a source of information where reliable news is scarce. When access to the internet is blocked and phone lines are cut, people can still search the airwaves for trustworthy sources. Even electricity is not a necessity for battery operated and hand-cranked radios.

          Patience is a virtue. This is what I've learned in my experience in making the radio broadcasting. In the fact that it will take a lot of shots before you can perfect your recording. And the accomplishment of this project is throughout the effort of my co-group mates. On the short period of time, I've seen the different attitude of my group mates. Some of them will come early and few will be late. Everyone is eager to help and the task are distributed to everyone. My task on the other hand is to do one commercial and to report about the traffic update.

          Engaging with this kind of work will gain positive outcomes. It boost our confidence, in such way that we are not afraid to speak up and also it will surely build teamwork.

Good Composition is a key element of good photographs yet is something that is hard to define. Instead of looking at composition as a set of ‘rules’ to follow – I view it as a set of ingredients that can be taken out of the pantry at any point and used to make a great ‘meal’ (photograph). As the quote says “We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us" and upon taking pictures I've realized so many things, for instance, that it was really hard to find a view that will suit to the photography you needed. I've seen myself and my pair struggling to get a perfect shot and angle. The photography composition indeed I should consider setting up a shot. FREEDOM WRITER'S REFLECTION

               The movie for me went totally interesting, for the fact that Mrs. Gruwell shows great determination and will to teach her no matter what the atmosphere of the classroom and the attitude of the students towards her. I really admired Mrs. Gruwell because she never gave up and even got divorced but never let down her students that needed her the most. Also, I liked Eva for she changed her attitude from protecting her own doing what is right no matter what. She chose to change her gang life in the streets and go back with her mother. The student really made an important transformation in their life, who don’t have nothing, they started having hope and realized that no matter how difficult life is, there is always hope. Everyone should watch this movie for it taught a little bit of life in all ages. From the students until the teachers a lesson is sent by the movie.

CENDIGRAPHY (About me)

            I, Cendie Rose Y. Yusores, was born on July 23, exactly 3 on the afternoon in the year 1998. My birthplace is Purok 8-A, Alabel, Sarangani Province. My middle name is Yray which is my mother’s maiden name. My nickname at home is Day but in school I was called by many nicknames such as Cends, Rosy and etc. My father’s name is Alexander and he was a security guard. And, my mother’s name is Concepcion and she work as a debonair in TEMPCO located at SaCi Alabel. After 5 years of waiting, my younger brother was born. His name is Aivan and he is an incoming fourth year high school student this June.

            I can say that my best education ever had started in our home. This is when Papa and Mama taught me the principles in life and values that I still hold until this very day. My kindergarten days was in Alabel Alliance School. Way back then, I really admire my teachers for they taught me how to write my name completely. Also, I remember so well my classmates and friends. My 6 years of elementary was spent at Alabel Central SPED Center. It was a bit far from my home. My Papa usually gave me ride to school using a bicycle. I gained awards for I belongs to the honor list. And I graduate as the 10^th honor. And for my high school days, I entered a prestigious school, Alabel National Science High School. In this school, I met plenty of smart people coming from different school. Students are surely competing with each other to have a spot in the honor list. As I go out to the portal of that school, I have so much knowledge, values and experiences that I can use for the betterment of myself.

            And now, I’m currently finishing my course Education at Mindanao State University. In this University, I met people with different culture and diversity. Hopefully, next year I’ll exit the portal of the University and open new chapter of my life.
